As our M365 and Power Platform Developer, you will have a hands-on approach to the design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale applications and solutions through the M365 environment such as Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online and MS Teams to name a few.

What you will be doing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and build no-code/low-code solutions on the Power Platform to support and deliver enterprise level applications, automation and integrations to meet business requirements.
- Develop applications using the latest M365 technologies such as PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Sharepoint online framework (SPFx).
- Support the WMCA in identifying business processes where the Power Platform and M365 frameworks can be better leveraged to improve efficiency and enable business transformation.
- Estimate, plan and manage work assignments to deliver projects on time, to budget and to quality.
- Monitor, investigate and resolve system faults occurring within Power Platform implementations.
- Liaise with colleagues within Digital and Data, business areas and third parties in the investigation, escalation and resolution of incidents.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Power Platform solutions.
- Support the education and adoption of Power Platform across the organisation.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with new features and capabilities of the Power Platform.
What’s essential.
- Experience developing custom solutions using Power Platform, including Canvas and Model Driven Apps, DataVerse and PowerAutomate.
- Proven ability to communicate with and train business users of all levels and abilities.
- Motivate, independent, collaborative and self-sufficient in delivery of assigned work.
- Educated to degree level or have equivalent/transferable experience in another role.
- Relevant Microsoft Certifications or a willingness to undertake and achieve certification.

Hybrid working and location.

The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3SD. It is expected that you can split your time between the office and working remotely, with an agreed amount of days a week spent in the office. This will be discussed with the hiring manager at interview stage.
